The mood and aesthetics I wanted were inspired by my grandmother who gifted me these L'Occitane products for Christmas. I was inspired by memories of her, bright color from flowers which she loves, and details from vintage glass bowls which lay around the house. The shoot needed to feel cosmetic yet organic to show the natural qualities the brand L'Occitane uses, and combine it with feelings and memories of my grandmother. I looked into the current identity and aesthetics of the company to stay within guidelines but also push boundaries. The final photos carry a combined quality of product and still life photography with a vintage feel.
